About This Product
Each slide is held by its edges and laid with the cavity facing up. A small drop of liquid sample or specimen goes into the cavity, a cover glass is added if the method needs one, and the slide is placed on the microscope stage for slow focusing. The shallow depression suits specimens that need more than a flat slide surface. The Cavity Slides (Pack of ten) is available for supply within India and for export to Bolivia, Indonesia, Jordan, Tunisia and Argentina.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q1. When is a cavity slide used instead of a flat slide?
When a specimen needs a shallow depression rather than a flat surface, such as small liquid samples, culture drops, aquatic organisms or wet biological specimens.
