Product Description

Prolong the life of an electrode with the appropriate hydration maintenance.

These electrode storage caps are only suitable for use for pH electrodes with a 12mm stem diameter.

After using your electrode, rinse off the probe with the recommended cleaner, blot with soft tissue paper, then pour 1 cm of storage solution into the plastic storage cap. Place probe tip/bulb into the cap and tighten the threaded collar.

Using the probe after storage:

Rinse off any storage solution or salts that may be on the glass body.

Remove the probe from the plastic storage tube by unscrewing the top collar to vent the cap before removing.

Save cap and collar for further probe storage.

Important tips:

While performing maintenance and measurement, handle the probe with care.

During storage or transportation, utilise the storage cap to protect and keep the pH /tip bulb hydrated.

Do not drop on a hard surface as it will permanently damage the probe.
