- Filled to a defined volume mark so sample and reference columns match
- Manual method: no electrical supply or display needed
About This Product
A Nessler cylinder is filled to a reference mark so that the sample and the comparison solution, or a standard series, stand at the same liquid depth. The two columns are then viewed side by side under the same lighting and the colour, clarity or turbidity is compared. It is used in supervised analytical chemistry practicals rather than for measuring volume. Export supply of the Borosilicate Nessler Cylinder can be arranged to laboratories and schools in Maldives, Nicaragua, Senegal, Peru, Samoa and Zambia.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q1. Is a Nessler cylinder the same as a measuring cylinder?
