About This Product
The tongs are used in combustion, heating, residue and evaporation work, where hot crucibles, lids and dishes must be handled without touching them. The item is gripped with the corrugated part of the jaws, lifted only once it is stable, and set down on a heat-resistant surface, bench mat, clay triangle or cooling area. They also help students learn correct hot-labware handling. The Stainless Steel Crucible Tongs is available for supply within India and for export to Chad, Malaysia, Brunei, Uganda, Côte d'Ivoire and Bulgaria.
