About This Product
This model shows DNA at the level of individual atoms, so the chemistry of the molecule is visible as well as its shape. Pupils work together to build the base-pair, sugar and phosphate subassemblies, then fit them onto the atom pieces already strung on nylon wires. The finished model hangs from its support plates, and a worksheet covers the structure of DNA and the mechanism of transcription.
