About This Product
The dual-purpose electroscope suits general electrostatics work and also enables comparative measurements of the activity of weak radioactive materials. After charging, the electrode can be removed using an insulating rod. Isolating the gold leaf mount reduces its capacity and increases the sensitivity of the electroscope for radioactivity experiments. The kit also holds charging strips, metallised spheres, polythene plates, an electrophorus plate and a proof plane.
